My works are inspired by my life experiences, predominantly difficult ones. For example, I have witnessed members of minority communities in Hong Kong being discriminated against, drag performers being publicly criticized or judged, bleach being poured into passageways where homeless people sought shelter, and traditional cultural elements being overshadowed or destroyed by modern development. While these experiences may not have happy endings in reality, they have become my motivation to create.

This belief is reflected throughout his photography. Gender, sexuality, body type, occupation, and race should not be the criteria by which we define one another.
